【DSE英文Speaking】小組討論變咗吹水group？一文教你點樣lead返住個point！

很多同學在考說話的時候都很禮讓，認為總之只要有把自己的論點丟出來就好了。其實不然，DSE英文 Paper 4 Speaking 考核的重點在於「討論」，如果能夠取得主導權，引導並帶動整個討論，就能鶴立雞群，讓你成為考官眼中的焦點！看著其他幾位考生侃侃而談，自己卻怕「搶話」沒辦法插得上嘴？明明知道話題正漸漸被帶偏，卻又怕太aggressive而苦無機會奪回討論的主導權？4大方法幫你一掃以上煩惱！

方法一：用「開場語」自然帶入話題

開場發言者是個很重要的角色，如果你願意主動開口的話往往能搶佔先機，令考場變成你的表演舞台！

關鍵：自然地開展話題，再將話題自然地帶到自己的論點。

示範一：

Nowadays traffic congestion has become a serious problem in many cities, and our topic is about how we can improve the situation. Maybe we can start by discussing the advantages of public transport.

示範二：

Since online learning has become more common after the pandemic, perhaps we can first talk about the benefits it brings to students.

方法二：趕上轉Point前的尾班車

旁邊同學突然開始小結，但你還有辛辛苦苦想出來的point沒來得及講？難得有好的point當然要大聲講出來！試試看用以下的句子禮貌地請其他candidate讓你插一下下話吧！

• “Before we move on, may I just add something to the previous point?”

• “Actually, I have a small point to add regarding the last topic.”

• “Can I quickly go back to the previous point? I feel it’s quite important.”

假如你是那位準備做小結的同學，當然也要有風度地提醒其他考生示意自己準備做小結：

• “Does anyone want to share another opinion before we move forward?”

• "Before we proceed, are there any further comments on this matter?"

方法三：掌控討論節奏

遇到其他candidates過份超時、話題被嚴重帶偏的情況也不要害怕，先給他們的努力一個肯定，然後把討論引回正軌。

• "You’ve raised a good point, but since time is limited, maybe we should return to [topic]."

• "That’s an interesting idea. Maybe we can come back to it later, but for now let’s continue with [topic]."

• “That’s very useful, but just to keep within time, perhaps we could move back to [topic]."

方法四：調解意見衝突

沒有分歧的小組討論不是好的小組討論。但當有人的觀點與你不同時，不要急著反駁而是先承認對方觀點的價值。我們是來討論，不是辯論，不需要駁倒對方的論點。如果其他candidate提出的反對論點有可取之處，大方承認會更加有利。

• “Your argument is solid. However, I think from another perspective…”

• “I see your point. Still, we might also want to consider…”

DSE英文 Paper 4 Speaking 並不是比誰的英文詞彙最多、文法最完美，而是比誰懂得善用語言去推動交流。當你能自信地發言、禮貌地糾偏、適時地接納意見，你就能成為這個考場的MVP。所以，下次模擬口試或正式考試時，先在腦中提醒自己：你不僅僅是來參與，而是要成為帶動討論節奏的人，將分數盡收囊中！
