Inform:
Persuade:
Advise:
Discuss:
Recommend:
Audience:
Purpose:
Context:
Tone:
Secondary school students / Parents / Teachers / Young people / General public / Members of a club
Audience
explain two problems
suggest three solutions
discuss the advantages and disadvantages
Are We Spending Too Much Time on Our Phones?
How to Prepare for Your DSE
5 Ways to Build Better Study Habits
More Than Just a Game
Hook:
Have you ever wondered how much time you spend on your phone every day?
The alarm rings at 6:30 a.m., but many students are already struggling to get out of bed.
For many teenagers, the first thing they see in the morning is not the sunlight, but their phone screen.
Point → Explanation → Example
Point:
Explanation:
Example:
Problem → Solution → Expected Result
例如:
Problem: Many students do not get enough sleep.
Solution: Schools could educate students about healthy sleeping habits.
Expected Result: Students may become more aware of the importance of rest and develop better routines.
Ultimately, improving our study habits does not mean studying harder every day. It means studying smarter and taking better care of ourselves.
Students should manage their time better.
Students can create a weekly study schedule and set aside fixed periods for rest and revision.
Nowadays, ...
Mobile phones affect students.
Have you ever experienced this?
You may be wondering why this matters.
The solution is simple: start small.
